Plan de la Tour is a small village, of just over 2,400 inhabitants, situated in the Massif des Maures hills about 18km northwest of St Tropez in southern France, 9km from the coast at Ste Maxime and 10km southwest of La Garde Frienet.

International airports at Toulon (55min) and Nice (1hr) service the town with direct access from the A8 auto route. A small market is held each Thursday morning providing a wide selection of local produce.

Plan de la Tour is a quiet, sleepy little village with lots of genuine French charm and character. Its history dates back to 12^th century, but the earliest record of habitation goes back to prehistoric times, a Menhir, 3 Dolmens and related artefacts dating back to the Bronze age can be found at Reverti, 5km south of the current village. A good base to explore the surrounding areas if you prefer a tranquil setting or love hiking.

The village is probably best known as the home of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.
