Perched on top of a hill next to the more famous St Tropez, the small village of Gassin boasts one of the best views in the Var region of the south of France, stretching from the island of Hyeres, past the Golfe of St Tropez and, on a clear day, you can see he snowy peaks of the Alps.

Gassin has a permanent population of 2,700 and covers an area of 2,474 Hectares.

Access by air is from the international airports at Nice (1hr 30 min) and Toulon Hyeres (50 min). High speed and services to the rest of southern France are available at St Raphael (39km).

Gassin is a 'must see' village during your stay in the Gulf of St Tropez or elsewhere in southern France. Its ramparts, the Chapel Notre Dame de la Passion and the Gallerie dei Barri, are well worth visiting.

Being close to the sea, Gassin offers many watersport activities, and for lovers of Golf there is an 18 hole course.
